Rooster in a Fig Tree, Tuscany As I painted this piece, I could hear the plop plop of ripe purple figs as they dropped on the ground at my feet - simply delicious ! A painting in watercolours completed 'en plein air' in a garden in Tuscany. A Rooster crowing in a terraced garden with fig trees and olive trees in the medieval hill village of Buggiana
