My sister was the model for this watercolour piece which I painted in the 1980's when I lived by the River Barrow in Ireland - an idyllic time of long summer days just enjoying life, living fo the moment amid the lush wild riverside of summer
Currently the local aothorities are planning to pave this river track - those who appreciate its unique beauty and the importance of it as a nature habitat are .campaigning to save it -The "Save the Barrow track" campaign.
