Semi abstract still life in watercolour .
The piece was completed when I was exploring the idea of painting multiple views at once and from differing perspectives and also the fact that our vision allows us to take in so much in one glance -some things appear as a blur -others in perfect clarity.
The whole piece is set on a kitchen dresser and includes various still life objects as well as some purple Irises across the foreground and in a jam jar;. -a green wine bottle and glass of white wine, eggs, egg cups, some herbs hanging drying on the dresser, patterned plates, a few nicolas mosse sponge ware mugs, and a kilner jar of preserved fruit.
