"Rooster by the Shore" acrylic on canvas .
I lived in a cottage a short walk from the beach in Aughacasla on the Castlegregory side of the Dingle Peninsula ,County Kerry in Ireland for a year. The views over Tralee Bay and across to North Kerry .are spectacular, the rugged lanscape is wild and windswept , the mountains are dramatic against an ever changing sky - an artists paradise !
This painting is a memory of that Idyllic time .
