Description
Watercolour painting of a summer flowering red geraniums / pelargonium in a terracotta pot.
Red geraniums symbolize the good that exists in everybody.. Some people believe that red geraniums represent change and a positive outlook.
Geraniums hold up relatively well (for an annual with large flowers) with minimal care. This durability is prized where plants are on their own for extended periods of time -they can survive without water for days, are drought and heat tolerant, (but can tolerate only minor frosts).and are.perfect for pots and window boxes.Despite not being frost-hardy, geraniums /pelargoniums are extremely easy to grow and to propagate.
As they are evergreen perennials, they can be kept in flower throughout the winter months in a sufficiently favoured spot or indoors.
