Description
Its that time of year again when thoughts of Winter bring on dreams of Hibernation. "Hedgerow Lullaby" is a piece of imaginative fantasy !
A thrush and a little wren sing their autumn song - farewell to their feathered friends who fly far away for winter, seeking warmer climes or feeding grounds and the creatures who go into hibernation for their long winter sleep.
I imagine how life must be for the Hedgehog right now preparing for their winter sleep by feeding for weeks on end. Then they find a safe and cosy nest deep in the hedgerow and drift away into a trance of rest to await the onset of Spring .
