Painting - Watercolour
Description
A floral still life. A jug filled with Irish Summer wild Flowers, pears on a table with lace tablecloth and A window which shows a hint of sunny summer landscape in the background.
This lovely bunch of wild flowers was gathered on a country walk in Ireland. There is an amazing but often overlooked abundance of colourful wild flowers in our hedgerows, ditches, bogs and meadows.
My favourites are honeysuckle also known as woodbine, dog rose and purple vetch all included here, also the sweet flower of the buttercup.
