Garden Path through a Summer Window
Artist
Trudi Doyle
Medium
Painting - Watercolour Painting
Description
Watercolour of Garden Path through a window .
The painting is set in an interior with a view to the sunlit garden outside, red pelargoniums in terracotta pots and a rustic gate at the end of the path
Imagine relaxing on the window seat in summer and later taking a walk down to the gate, the scents of summer wafting on the breeze, the trees filtering the hazy sunshine on.the path .I love to paint sunlight !
The painting now brings to mind a song by the Kinks
" Help me, help me, help me sail away,
Well give me two good reasons why I oughta stay.
Cos I love to live so pleasantly,
Live this life of luxury,
Lazing on a sunny afternoon.
In the summertime "
