Description
This painting "Dream Journey"was conceived the day after my mother had suddenly passed away.
I was driving alone when a stag crossed the country road in front of my car. He stopped and I stopped the car, he looked me in the eye briefly before moving on and jumping through the hedgerow to continue on his journey. It was like a moment in a dream - he was there and then he was gone. I found this very comforting in some strange way.
I had driven on the same road many times over the years and had never before seen such a beautiful wild creature anywhere near there.

Wonderful artwork Trudi! Beautiful and magical - I can actually imagine this woman being the main character brought to life and moving on the silver screen in a lovely animation story or series. It looks fabulous on the products! I can appreciate your description as well, having just recently lost my mom. I do believe the spirits of our lost loved ones send us messages in this and other ways to bring us comfort, as your intuition was guiding you on the meaning of the surprise appearance of this beautiful animal.
