Description
Another acrylic painting in the series. A laneway in Crecrin where I live, the Wicklow mountain landscape , pastures,forest and hills with clouds warning of summer rain approaching.
The constantly changing skies in Ireland provide endless inspiration and walks with my dogs on this lovely isolated lane gives me an opportunity to observe the various shades of blues and greens in the landscape .
Painted with Artists Acrylic using palette knife and brushes -protected with mat varnish.
I have painted this scene many times and never tire of its beauty and variety.
I live in this ares which is on the border of two counties ;Wicklow and Carlow. Wicklow is known as the "Garden of Ireland" because of its striking mountain terrain, its wild boglands, its forested uplands, its lush cultivated farmland and the many private parklands and gardens,
